		<description>My guess would be that minor is generally in comparison to something (a minor share of the sales, a minor part of the total profit...) Marginal isn&#039;t a comparison, and more often refers to profits, sales, and such (hence the phrase &#039;profit margins&#039;). According to a look up of the definitions on google, one definition of marginal is &quot;producing at a rate that barely covers production costs; &#039;marginal industries.&quot; Minor would work technically (Though then again, so would nugatory) but marginal is a more relevant answer.
