What is the best family friendly neighborhood in Maryland to own a home?

My father as well as we live in New York with the 3 year aged son. Living costs have been costly in NY as well as was deliberation seeking for affordable homes in Maryland subsequent Summer 2008. Trusting genuine estate agents have been difficult since they have been not entirely honest. By alternative people’s experience, greatfully let us know of any city/neighborhood in Maryland which is family accessible (schools, parks, selling centers, most appropriate home locations nearby family groups w/ children). We didn’t wish to revisit the place with tall crime rates as we have been experiencing which right away in New York City. Thanks for any assistance we can give us! : )

"Trusting real estate agents are tough because they are not fully honest."

Federal Fair Housing Laws prevent Realtors from answering this question. I can lose my license for answering those questions.

It’s your house, your family, your comfort level, and your money being invested.
