What do you think about an adopt a family type charity program?

Under Family Category: Family Parenting

Really rich people have been regularly donating to vital charities. because not take the low income family as well as capacitate them to do better? Thing similar to provideing transpotation, profitable for Mom or Dad to go to traffic propagandize or college, compensate 6 months of lease as well as utilities so they can get upon there feet? Or buy groceries whilst they go to propagandize as well as such. That sort of thing. If we strike the lotto thats what i’d do adopt the family.
I do not meant as the a single time assistance thing we meant to unequivocally demeanour out for them as well as assistance them in assorted ways to turn some-more successful.

I think it sounds like a great idea, truly. The only problem that I can see with it is how do you make sure the money goes where it is really needed. I have worked closely with the Tx department of Health and Human services who controls food stamps and medicaid etc. I can tell you from personal experience that there are a lot of people who can scam the system. If they can scam a government agency so effectively it would be just as easy or easier to scam a charity. I would love to find a way to help the people who really need the help.

A lot of people do this through a church or another organization. They anonymously donate money, school supplies, etc., to help out a family. Even people who aren’t wealthy themselves can help out just by volunteering two hours or more a month at their local food bank. I work two hours a week at ours, and it’s extremely rewarding.
