Our nephews boyfriend looked ashamed in family photos,is there some way to cheer him up?

Under Family Category: Family Parenting

The nephew is 17, whilst his partner is 19, as well as in college. Anywho, when seeking during a family pix from eighth month you all went on, he had facial expressions of shame. you felt contemptible for him. Everyone in a family treated with colour him w/respect similar to you would any a single else. They both only not long ago came out of a closet. Is there a little approach to have them feel some-more during ease? Not certain if possibly a single of them dealt w/odd behavior; rejecting during propagandize or somewhere else.

Spend lots and lots of time with him! He’ll be used to it soon!

Your nephew and his friend just need to know that your family supports him no matter if he is gay or not.

You should let him know that he is totally accepted by your family and you like having him around. He may be feeling a bit awkward or nervous, especially around large groups of family or feeling left out. Maybe he is dealing with other issues that arent related to him being gay, and is just trying to figure them out.

What were they doing in the closet? sounds like they were up to no good so that’s what I would be asking your nephew.

Some people just don’t like getting their photo taken so just let it be.

Let them know that you are happy with the choice that they have made to be together.

Assure your nephew that you love him regardless of his sexual orientation.

Let them know that you and the other family members support their relationship regardless of other peoples opinions as their happiness is what is important to you.
