I believe this song was written about Donovan when they were all living with Maharishi. Can anyone confirm that? It’s really beautiful in it’s simplicity and sweetness now that I hear it after a long, long time. That was Donovan’s style that they were commenting on.

And let me go back and say that some of his acoustic stuff on the album is good. I’m basing this opinion on most of it sucking due to ‘I’m So Tired’ and ‘Julia’.

What, for supporting one Beatle over the other? It’s only an opinion, dude, and you’re just acting like a child over something you disagree with. Real Mature.

actually…i think so…but its my opinion too!

Your opinion sucks ass.

I think Paul’s acoustic moments are far better on The White Album. John’s acoustic stuff sucks ass (my opinion).

en todo caso sería “las margaritas bailando con el viento”…igual si te fijas bien, en la letrar ponen “daises” en vez de “daisies” …y el primero no significa margarita, significa tarima…:O…:S….es raro…

Las flores daises bailando con el viento

I love this song

A daisy is a type of flower. A flower would sway in the wind – like moving from side to side. By saying that the daisies are swaying he’s saying they are interacting with the wind – ie. they are alive. So that is something about nature we would protect and preserve because its beautiful. Hope that makes sense :)

midbsaj wrote on January 21, 2010 - 1:41 am | Visit Link

yes. It means the daises are swaying in the wind

So beautiful..the beatles as a group, obviously, were mutually inspiring, and kept the bar high!
Check out “Sunny Day” by an unknown Beatle wanna be, named Randy Seymon…it’s pretty good, really!

Beautiful song… like so many of their songs, it does take you into another world. There really was something magical and mysterious about them…

gbj11 wrote on January 21, 2010 - 1:41 am | Visit Link

I should have been born in the 60′s.

67kmullan wrote on January 21, 2010 - 1:41 am | Visit Link

Nope, but you obviously weren’t born a shap-witted individual, so who cares ?
