If I was to worship a religion, it would be one of peace.And I don’t care what anyone says..Islam is not that religion. Dude, I was commenting on what you said about Hafez being full of Islamic culture and tradition. Iranian culture could, can and will stand alone and is great by itself without the influence of Islam. We are not blaming Arabs for the tragedy of 79, we simply want, and will free our self from a religion and culture that is not ours…And guess what we will prevail..One day the whole world will!

Are you serious?? Sufis are known to use wine and intoxication as a metaphor for divine love and divine intoxication. The female figure in poems. You should read Hossein Syed Nasser’s work on Omar Khayam especially examination of al-Khutbat al-gharrå written by Khayaam which celebrates Allah’s beauty and divine unity. Persian culture was great before Islam came, and after it came it was only made much better.
