no, i mean the music. this sound is psychedelic, but is inovative and original in a way you can call it avant gardé.

i’ve never heard such ‘noises’ in the music mainstream before Floyd… and to tell you the truth, after i’ve listened to almost all of their songs, it seems like every sound can be turned into music somehow.

This is Pink Floyd at their most pretentious. The skat-choir accompanied by jazz piano? Pure cringe. And then they pile on the over-dramatic dischord. Eccentric for eccentrics sake.Thank God they developed taste in time for DSOTM.

Yea… thanks … this is by far my favorite that I’ve done. I had one similar set to In-a-gadda-da-vida, that was as good…but they took it off for copyright violations on a 40PLUS year old song. O_O Go figure.

This part of the song… mostly the ending, is SO 2001 movie….

With all the messed up mellotron sounds clashing together, Funky Dung reminds me of “Devil’s Triangle” from King Crimson’s: “In the Wake of Poseidon” album.

Mr. Black, check out a utube post called “David Gilmour and Rick Wright Echos Gdansk”. at minute 2:20, Rick goes ballistic on the Hammond B3, its the sickest Hammond playing ive ever heard from Rick. cheers.

I can never say enough about Rick Wright, just like LS said,. he is the soul of Pink Floyd, as well a lot of the beauty, with his harmonies and his wonderful pads and pianos, not to mention his sick hammond playing. listen to any og the newer Gilmour/Wright Utube posts, there are some awsome organ parts, and ive never heard floyd as funky as in these performances. If you study your Floyd properly, you KNOW that pigs can fly!!

waters and mason feel this one. thats what makes this song so great. with every cymbal crash and the low repeating bass line give you that great far out feeling. music like this can do anything in the world
