Remember the only people who benefit from wars are the corporations the politicians,and the rich. The ones who die our the poor the working class and the children. This all around the world. But of course, it’s MUCH easier to embrace peace and condemn war when we tend to close our eyes on the horrors (*real* body-mangling torture, executions, mass killings, the holocaust, etc…) occurring *within* tyrannies and dictatorships, *away* from the media-accompanied professional armies and *away* from the media-covered battlefields…

In order to live “in peace”, should British and American sons not have gone into battle to fight German and Japanese sons in the 1940s, then (or Baathist sons in 2003)?

Thereby allowing the German sons and the Japanese sons (ie, Nazis and Imperialists) to continue the murder of innocent, unarmed sons (and daughters) of civilians in the countries they occupied? How ’bout the Baathists’ sons taking civilians to Saddam’s killing fields?
