I work as a child psychologist and my husband works as a family doctor and he’s very busy, he has long days and he’s stressed out. He works 5-6 days a week at a clinic in our city and he works about 10 hours a day. But what my husband does that is good, is that he leaves his work at work. When he’s at home, we don’t talk about our work..we just focus on our family and daughter. He sees a lot of patients and the hardest for him is to break bad news to someone ( such as cancer ). I think that would be hard for anyone. And his days are very very long. But he makes a great salary and we both live very comfortably. But some clinics can offer you flexible hours but that’s something you’ll have to look into.
