Let her have her ghosts, it does little harm to you no? No need to beat down her beliefs on a holiday, that would just be rude.

They shouldn’t believe in dead people that are "ghosts".

There are no dead people that get to be "ghosts". There are demons that can pretend to be "ghosts", in order to try and deceive people.

Demons ALWAYS mean harm, destruction, and death to people. And only JESUS can stop demons and drive away demons.

The truth about death is that death brings IMMEDIATE heaven or hell, depending ONLY on whether you believed in Jesus for salvation, or not.

Heaven is eternal joy with the Lord! :D

Hell is eternal torment.

So to be in heaven and not in hell, believe in Jesus for salvation RIGHT NOW!

Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D

The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in Jesus for salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die! :D

Don’t believe in Ghosts?

There are places within 30 miles of wherever you live that would change your mind if you spent a night there.

And actually there are no ghosts. There are only demons that use ghosts.

In preparation to the visit film yourself jumping at the camera with a white sheet over yourself. Show them the tape and say that you filmed it in their silly room. Christians will believe anything, its the Placebo effect you see.

Im a Christian and I don’t believe in ghost. thats umbilical. You either go to heaven or hell when you die nothing in between. Most Baptists don’t really believe that by the way.Thats kinda weird that they do. Thats more Catholic than Baptists. Just tell them that their loved one is in a better place. Such as heaven.

I am a believer in God but you know what I have had many experiences with ghosts, maybe they have seen someone, if you don’t believe in them that’s fine it shouldn’t bother you then, but you can’t say that they didn’t see anything. So just let it go, and if they talk about it just listen doesn’t mean you have to believe.

Respond the way you normally would towards people who just lost a loved one. Be respectful and emotionally supportive. I doubt they will demand that you be able to see her or anything. Best not to argue with what they say, but you don’t have to agree either. Best luck.

I suggest everyone responding to this question to go to the link I supplied in What’s Your Source? Read up on demonology and angelology. There are good articles to read and also EVP’s, ghost pics, vids as well. Spirits are very much real. So before you go at it with your family members, know the facts first.

The thing is there is no such things as ghosts. But the things are demons. So they pretend to be the loved ones who have passed away.
If I were you I would anoint the room with olive oil and plead the blood of Jesus around the doors and windows. Because with their beliefs they have opened the door to the devil to come into their home.

And print this out for them to see what God thinks about their beliefs too.

A forbidden practice is something that is an abomination to the Lord. This means Gods hates these things and does not want His children to have any thing to do with them. God tells us very clearly nine things that He hates. "When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. here shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God (Deuteronomy 18:9-13).
God wants us to stay away from these things, not because He wants to control us, or deprive us of anything, but because He loves us, and knows these things are very dangerous. He wants us to stay away from these things regardless of what form they are in. For example, these occult practices may be the theme of a game, or a movie, or a book. If any of these themes are in something, do yourself a favor and avoid it.

If they are truly Christian, they should know this…

(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

This denies the existence of ghosts.

Since they are Baptists you will do best to quote from the Bible. Bible teachers have always taught that when we die we are judged and go to heaven or hell. There is no where in the Bible where it gives a person the option of floating about and haunting our old homes. St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:8, "to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ".

Tell them that they are just imagining the present of their deceased loved one. There are so many things around that remind them of their deceased loved one that any bump or sound that is heard is attributed to her. Its okay and you understand how much they miss her.

Aside from that don’t press it. If they want to believe in her ghost, then just let them. All you need say is that you wouldn’t mind even if there was a ghost.
