How do I know if a family member has a trait that dominate or recessive?

How will we establish if a family part of has a widespread trait? How will we establish if a family part of has a recessive trait?

Well if more people in your family have brown eyes then that’s dominant. If 3 people have red hair, but most have brown, then red is recessive. I goes the same with any other trait. You just have to know a majority of your your family’s traits. Ask your parents, look at picture, or make a family tree.
