How do I convince my family that not all pit bulls are vicious?

I have the 3 month aged Pit Bull puppy. He’s anything though infamous though my family won’t revisit since of him, as well as there is no approach in ruin which we am starting to get absolved of my dog only since of my family. Personally we hold which if a little a single is fearful of Pit Bulls prior to they get to essentially know them, they have been pussys.

It’s ignorant people who believe everything in the media about pit bulls. Yes, they can be aggressive and they are dominant animals, but they are also great dogs! My pit has never bitten anyone or any dog, she is fun loving and loyal, and yes sometimes if someone gets too close to me and she senses that I’m uncomfortable she will give a warning growl. Look, you can talk until your face is blue about how great your pit is, I know first hand! But so many people by into this media intensified fact that they are blood hungry dogs that they wont give them a chance. But did they know that a pit had a better tempermant then a beagle or a lab. OR labs are more likely to bite much more then pits do AND chow’s are known for turning on their owners. My boyfriend got part of his lip bit because of a chow! But do you ever hear about how horrible these dogs are, no! I’m sorry, but once someone has an idea in their head, it’s really hard to change their mind. Don’t get rid of the dog, it has done nothing wrong and as for that lady who posted all of those "helpful" fun facts about how horrible pits are, she needs to get over it! It’s not the dogs fault that the owner is an idiot!

At 3 months most pups are very cute and cuddly.

Why do you people insist on getting pit bulls?

There are many occurances where people have bought pit bulls, raised them to be sweet and not harm anyone and then one day they turn on their owners.

If you don’t believe what I’m saying I have provided links for you to view, if you’re not entirely stubborn and actually care to listen.

i have 9 pit bulls. 8 of them are puppies. they have NEVER tried to bite or attack me or my family. just try to show them how sweet he is by maybe taking him to their homes to let them get to know him. i know they might not like you taking him over there but you could maybe bring them outside and they could play around or whatever.

Some people are stubbornly ignorant.

Don’t get rid of the dog.

You can keep the dog and still get to see your family. You can visit them or meet up elsewhere.

Hopefully someday they will come around and understand.
