this song is amazing, the other day i was sitting alond thinking about how me and my father dont get along… but this song reminds me that he does love me as his son… and that i do in fact make him proud… even if he doesnt say it.

@sikast wow man, this is a true testament to your commitment to your dad, i know how hard it is , my father is still alive but he was on the brink a few years ago and we were actually goin thru a song list to play at his funeral and it was one of the hardest expieriences of my life, but he is all good now, but i wanted you to know that im prayin for you man, im sure god is happy havin him in his kingdom

like others this song fits my dad also for the longest time my dad couldnt say it but what he did for me and my family said it all the car the home repair were all things he did its still hard to listen to this song my dads been gone for more then two years and I just thought I was getting over it and this song reminded me thanks amurtiger 224 for loading this

This is beautiful. There has always been something about Bucky that I like. When he was on AI, he was my favorite.

I can’t get over how much this song is like my step dad. I don’t think I’ve EVER heard the words “I love you” come out of his mouth to me or my brother, but we know he does. You know, next time I’m at my parents, I’m gonna give him a big hug. I think it’ll be funny to see how much he stiffens up lol.

that is him to a t. i think only reason i never thought of it was because i think that is always how it has been. we don’t say we love you to anyone but our wife and mother when she says it really. but to our boys we show it in other ways. me and him never liked to hug but we would for moms sake and i honestly only ever hear him say it when he is deeply worried for me.

I guess it has been about twenty years since my dad and I said “I love you” to each other. But I think we both know.

this is the first time ive heard this song i like it its just sad to say i cant say that i feel the same way about my father, he was never really there for me. oh well i guess somethings arent meant to be. i really liked this song. and i love bucky covington.

I heard this song the other day on the radio for the first time and it made me think of my dad. we don’t get along now but we used to and this song reminded me of how he was then.. And it makes me wish that it were the same way now…
