Scrapbooking for Your Baby

Under Family Category: Family Fun,Hobby and Leisure,Home Decoration

Picture of Scrapbooking for Baby ImageForget the usual plain photo frames and albums – your baby’s most gorgeous moment deserves to be displayed in an extra-special way.

Scrapbooking is a fabulous way to show off your favorite photographs and a chance to unleash the crafty person within. In this example, we’ve kept the detail to a minimum so the photograph of Daisy is the primary focus.

Tearing the edges of the printed and textured paper is an easy way to add interest without making the page look cluttered. And if you’re not a confident cross-stitcher, you can replace the cross-stitches with three small pink buttons.

Once finished, you can add the page to your family album, use it to start a scrapbook for your baby or display it in a frame.

Materials:
• A photograph (this one is 20cm x 14cm)
• Double-sided adhesive tape
• Pink cardstock (bigger than the photograph)
• Scissors
• Pale green handmade paper (bigger than the pink cardstock)
• 35cm length of wide pink gingham ribbon
• Pale pink textured cardstock (12 inches x 12 inches, roughly 30cm x 30cm)
• Plaid printed paper (12 inches x 12 inches, roughly 30cm x 30cm)
• 50cm length of narrow pink gingham ribbon
• Angel rub-on word (Making Memories brand)
