If I wanted to start making leather bracelets as a hobby what kinds of tools would I need?

Also, where could we squeeze those tools? Where would we get a tanned hide from? What kind of start-up costs am we seeking at? And is there a little kind of site which walks we by this kind of hobby venture? Thanks for any help.

The answer to your question can be really complicated or very simple depending on the style of bracelets you want to make.

Some bracelets can be made using only lace, while others can require several tools and hardware.

I would suggest you contact a local Tandy Leather store (www.tandyleatherfactory.com) they can help you with the tools and supplies. But also check out http://www.leatherworker.net. Its a free forum for the art.
