I want to take up a new hobby. What kind of hobby should I try?

Under Family Category: Hobby and Leisure

I not long ago went to the marriage accepting of an aged crony which I’d not seen for 5 years. He introduced me to most people, though the usually thing he’d ever contend about me was which we fool around video games. Well, which is true; as good as we did fool around video games the lot 5 or 6 years ago, though we unequivocally don’t fool around them most during all any more.
I wish to begin the brand new hobby, so I’ll have some-more to discuss it people which we do. Saying “I fool around video games” tends to have the single receptive to advice similar to the small kind of quiescent crippled with no amicable life. we know that’s not regularly the case, though which is the stereotype, as good as positively doesn’t report me really well.
I was meditative something inventive or song related; guidance to fool around the electric guitar perhaps?
Something the small some-more earthy competence be fun, too. Perhaps receiving up bodybuilding (not only my style, though wouldn’t hurt), or swimming.
I’m only seeking for the small ubiquitous hobby suggestions which competence be fun as good as not as well costly to do.

dancing, photography, volunteering at the SPCA, running, any local sports league. I think dancing would be a fun one. You meet so many people and you’ll have such a great time!!!

Try a few different things and see if you take an interest in them. Try swimming, try bodybuilding, try listening to some electric guitar clips and see how you feel about the sound. All you need to do is find something you like.

Well theres all sorts of things you could do, photography although somwhat expensive will give you a chance to get some exercize while getting outdoor shots but for the days you don’t feel like going anywhere you can shoot in the house.
You could take up woodworking or metal smithing you can start out with little equiptment and build up as you get intewrested or not.
you could go to a music store and try out what they have in the store to see if you want to try something like that.

Check out Letterboxing.org, this is a creative hobby but also a "working" hobby.

The gist of it……this is a scavenger hunt, you will find "locations" of the boxes with directions for finding them. You have a rubber stamp that is yours, also a journal that will be yours. The boxes will have a stamp and journal. When you find the box you will make your mark in it. And then use the stamp from the box to stamp your journal. This is a good hobby because you will be outdoors, will always have something "new" to share and can take other people with you on the search. These boxes have locations all over the world or even just your city. If you live close to an area where you can go into other states it will be even more exciting.

My daughter and I live in FL on the east coast. We found them here then she went to TX to visit a friend and had printed out various locations with directions before she went there. She then took her friend she was visiting on the hunt in TX. My daughter then moved to Ft Myers FL which is the west coast. She has now involved friends from her job or school in this hobby.

It really depends on what you like. Music, sports, or even volunteering. I would try a sport you like but have never tried, or one you have but didn’t go far.

You might try tennis or building model cars or volley ball, which I don’t know if that would be considered a hobby but you have something to do with your time and plus get exercise.

If you’re into video games, why not move up a notch and learn to fly… on a simulator, that is?

Take a look at this (it’s strictly non-commercial!):

You might find some other things to interest you there, also.

Have fun!
