How often should I practice Ballet if it is a hobby?
Under Family Category: Hobby and Leisure
I am you do Ballet as the hobby, we do not wish to be the professional, though we still wish to be great during it. How prolonged as well as how mostly should we practice?

If you enjoy it and want to Improve, you should practice as many times you can. you should stretch once a day, at least. If you only have one practice a week, you should try to aim for 2-3 hours a week. This is only a suggestion, you should practice based on your shedule, if you have to study or you have a lot of homework, obviously you won’t practice too much or not at all that night. My goal would be: sweat at least once a day.
I also enjoy ballet! If you just want it as a hobby, do however many times you can, just remember, the more you do the better and faster you’ll improve.
If you want to really be good I would do at least three times a week and stretch at home. You will improve a lot and become a great dancer!
you should practice like about every day doing grandee de mandes. it stretches your split if you need to do one and you should always practice pleas every morning when you wake up. if you want to be a proffesional, do everything that you’ve learned at ballet, do it at the commercials. always do please!
I think you should take class at least once a week. The discipline, the leadership, and any necessary feedback if you require correction of your form are things you can’t get at home. Also, center work and allegro steps need instruction. You can’t dance entirely freely if you’re always trying to see yourself in a mirror.
When you do practice at home, it should be mostly stretching and slow barre work. Pliés, battements, ronds de jambe, développés, and exercises for good port de bras are things you can work on. I personally think that half an hour a day, every day, is better than longer sessions two or three days a week. Well — maybe you can take Sunday off.
usually i stretch for 10 minutes every night and pratice the things we learnt in class for 20 minutes
It does not matter….thats what i think. I mean i go to ballet EVERY DAY im not sure if i whant to go pro though (im only 12!!) But i love it. (;
