@samir9382 Yes, It doesn’t come with a transmitter.
Does it not come with a remote
from that to the to get it?
@3dcga I may not be the guy to ask… I have had my share of problems with Spektrum 2.4. If you do buy a Spektrum I would recomend the DX7 because the SU-34 instruction book tells you how to program the DX7. Good Luck!
@wcolby1 Btw… if I get this flight simulator that comes with the DX5e transmitter, do you think I can use it with the SU-34?
@wcolby1 Thanks man. So basically, I just need to get the DX7 along with this plane and I’m set?
@3dcga The following is just my personal opinion… Start with a high wing trainer, buddy box, and flight simulator. If you are an experienced pilot, this plane is a lot of fun. The instructions actually tell you how to program the Spektrum DX7 to fly this jet. I THINK the only extra stuff you need is a Li-Po charger.
Remember to shut off vectored thrust during take off & landing. Good Luck!
Hi Walter… I am interested in getting into flying RC jets. I would like to know what are the things I need to get additionally to this plane. I realized I need the radio controller seperately. Can you recommend which one to get? Would appreciate your guidance. Noob here
mix the thrust vector to the rudder for easy cross wind landings
Yep, Thanks!!
@ColoradoHeliNut My servo slower had one input plug & two output plugs, so I plugged the servo slower in to the receiver & the harness that then Y-ed out to the 3 servos.
The servo slower is between the RX & the Y- harness. I only used one output of the servo slower.
I hope that makes sense.
Walter, did you use a Y-harness on the server slower to connect the three retract servos since the slower only has two plugs? Thanks!
i am getting this for christmas and i wanted to now if there was anyway to set it up on a dx6i
I did another one on the rudder installation, you can view it in the video response box. walt
Hobby Lobby includes 2 part epoxy in the kit, I have used foam safe CA on this aircraft with no problem, but epoxy is much stronger.
would normal foam safe CA be suitable for building this aircraft?
Hey Walter – can you do another more indepth review? Do you know of any other video reviews?
Awesome review. Really like the paint scheme 5 stars
Great review Walt, plane looks great.
