@HobbyLobbyRC Very cool! Lots of motors that fit the bill!! I really appreciate the feedback! I wanted one of these last year and never got it…this time around I will for sure! Will fly it stock for a while and then move up…

@gooniac33 28mm inrunner. Certainly other motors out there for higher power.

@HobbyLobbyRC Is it the ESC or the Motor that can’t take it?

@HobbyLobbyRC OK good to know. Any idea what size the motor is? Is it possible to replace it with something that could handle more?

@gooniac33 Probably both. They both get hot after a flight, so pushing it more will likely cause a failure on one or the other.

@gooniac33 The 4.75 pushes it pretty hard. I’d be scared the 5.2 would over amp it.

Is the motor that comes with the plane capable of spinning a different prop? Would a 5.2X5.2 Cam prop be too much for it?

I flew my rifle up to 135mph but now you can make it go 165mph. My wing didn’t snap off when flying that fast it not suppose to come of is all fiber glass. I just see that happen so the guy flew the rifle and got it up to 130 and the wing snap off in have daaaaammm. Get a dago red racer is better then a rifle sport racer. And the nitro planes they are much faster.

Dang, this thing looks like a lot of fun!! Anyone know how it behaves with regards to accelerated maneuver stalls – what happens when you pull a little hard in a turn? I have a little Cheetah and it has a wicked tendency to snap out of tight turns…

@xandezendron :::: I saw this plane personally fly at this years NEAT Festival. I assure you its not sped up at all. Those planes are really fast. Im buying one as soon as they come out…

@xandezendron Well, I made it, and it wasn’t. It’s a 120MPH airplane, if I sped it up, you wouldn’t be able to see it!

@airbagit13 i was thinking the same thing, but the rifle has a VERY high wing loading, and will only go about 110mph.. i know i guy that had one and put a different motor set up and the wing snapped in half at about 130mph. and plus it is around this price, but it doesnt come with the esc. so im definitely getting this one instead.

Was going to look into getting a Electrifly Rifle but now I will have to look into this one.

@Free07Style No way to get a 4S in there. The 3s barely fits. Motor and ESC wouldn’t take it either. Trust me, it’s plenty fast on 3S.
