Well, It doesn’t make a great deal of proffit, but it does pay for itself and makes pin money. I make greetings cards mainly on behalf of friends and family who want a card featuring something special – ie a particular motorbike or odd sport like lacrosse which would be difficult to find on a commercial card. I also make clocks using wooden bread boards and putting the design on with a pyrograph (poker work).

I do have a self supporting hobby. I quilt… and have an obsession for great textiles. I participate in one really well organized and patronized art and craft show a year. I make inventory for this show year round, from scraps and other purchased supplies. I have a wide variety of merchandise not only in colors and style but price range.
It does better than pay for itself. I have been doing this show for years , and have a good amount of repeat customers because they know if they want items , it is a once per year event. Many shop for themselves also for gifts.
It keeps me in fabric !! Yes I am a fabric /addict.

I have a hobby that pays for itself. I’m a Demonstrator for Stampin up. I make money doing what I love then the money I make I keep if I need extra money or I’m able to buy more stuff. As a demonstrator I get 20% off and sometimes more depending on my sales and my downlines sales. I’d love to tell you more. Please dont hesitate to email me if you have any questions.
