If you are planning on dragging it behind a vehicle under 3,500kg GVW, then you will be breaking the law as the maximum width to tow behind a vehicle less than 3,500kg is 2.3 metres so you can, and should, be stopped by the police every time you go out. If you use a vehicle over 3,500 kg then you are fine - the maximum width then is 2.55m. The real issue is what you’re planning on towing it with.
